Appropriations due to COVID-19 pandemics will be held in four different days, in order for academic units to have enough space to organise the test.
The teacher for student learning and issues, Hysen Bytyqi, says of KosovaPress, that students of 14 academic entities offer 70 research programmes.
“Today we have announced the competition for recording young students at the Bachelor level, this opportunity will be given to 6638 students in 14 academic units as long as the UP and will be registered in 70 research programs, which are extremely attractive programs. The competition will generally be open by September 30th, September 30th -- 4:00x1>, respectively, he says.
Bytyqi says admissional exams will be held on 2, 3, 5 and 6 October, until he stresses that all academic units have been mobilised to maintain everyone's health.
The academic units are fully mobilised to maintain everyone's health, regardless of applicants or administrative workers, or academic workers, all the same, this is our priority. We have another experience in this direction because the University of Pristina in the June deadline and in the deadline now that we are organising the student's physical presence exams, this has also been the student requirement, all of this is organised in small groups and so far we have no problems which have been presented in terms of this”, he says.
And in the function of health conservation by the pandemic COVID-19, Bytyqi says they have predicted that admissional exams for academic entities be organised in 4 days, in order to enable them to respect the rules of the Kosovo Institute of Public Health.
We have now distributed it to four days, always allowing or offering all academic units, different physical spaces and infrastructure available to the University of Pristina to enable the admissional exam to be implemented into smaller groups. This, of course, implies other measures, different disinfectants, with all that the National Institute of Public Health recommends”, he stated.
As for the accession criteria, Bytyqi claims that the admission exam will have 40 per cent, while 30 per cent will depend on success and 30 per cent on the prom test.
“All the success of the early years bears 30 per cent weight, 30 per cent of the scores gained from applicants in the prom test, and 40 per cent remains for points on the receiving exam, which is specific for each academic unit and for every research programme based on characteristics, respectively, on preliminary preparations that should have applicants so that when recorded we can be sure that those applicants will reap good results of”, he says.
The competition for the admission of new students to Pristina University “Hasan Pristina” will be open by September 30th, while it is still unknown when the second deadline for student admission will be held.
Otherwise, student admission competitions have opened the University “Uqin Hoti” in Prizren, University of Gjilan and the University of Applied Sciences at Ferizaj.
