Today, a real drama took place in the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the portal Klux.ba. Meanwhile, Dodik submitted a request to hold an extraordinary session with one point on the agenda on the transfer of the BiH Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Republika Srpska leader Milorad Dodik sent a request to hold an extraordinary session of Bosnia and Herzegovina's presidency, with only one point on the agenda; “Proposing the decision to change the headquarters of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Embassy in the State of Israel.
That requirement came after Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency members Sefik Dzaferovic and Zeljko Komsic publicly assessed that Dodik's proposal to transfer the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the state of Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem was populist and unrealistic.
The Bosnian portal writes “, meanwhile, had a request to hold another extraordinary session of the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina at 10:45, just 15 minutes before the session requested by Milorad Dodik”.
However, this is a request by Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency member Zeljko Komciq's cabinet. Komsic's cabinet demanded that the decision's proposal on recognising the Republic of Kosovo” be discussed at that extraordinary session.
In his request, Dodik points out that Israel's sovereignty over Jerusalem is indisputable. It also ranks which states have so far moved their embassies from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
So far, only three countries have done it, and several other countries have open offices in Jerusalem. By signing the agreement in Washington, Serbia took over to move its embassy to Jerusalem by July 2021. Kosovo, which will receive recognition from Israel, will do the same.
