This is the cop who was sentenced today to life in prison for killing 32-year-old Suhareka

Kosovo Police member Shefki Spahiu has received life sentence for the murder of 32-year-old Jetmir Aliaj, from the village of Suhareka, Museum. Aliaj was shot dead at his job, at a casino in Suhareka, by police officer Spahiu, who was on his way to commit robbery. The 32-year-old victim had been able to identify him before being shot, on March 17th of last year.
Apart from the charge of murder, this policeman had been accused by the prosecution of sexual abuse of two minor girls a few years ago.

According to the Basic Prosecutor in Prizren that on 9 June 2015 in Suhareka at a motel, Spahiu had committed the sexual act of minors. “On the same date, time and location, exploiting the vulnerable situation and age of the injured, following the performance of sexual acts with one minor, commits sexual act with another caused by”, the prosecution's indictment of Spahiu broadcasts IndexOnline.

In June 2016, the Constitutional Court in Prizren acquitted police officer Spahiu after proving that the prosecution's allegations of sexual abuse of minors by police were unstable. But this is not the only case this police official faces justice. The troubled policeman was in the pipe of the IPK under suspicion that he had misused his official position and forged documents.
