According to a August 19th report, the first phase in which pre-school levels and classes 1,2,3,6 and 10 are included on Monday, on September 14th, according to scenario A (coming in school), as classes 4 and 5 begin teaching on the same date, according to A or B scenarios, so with presence in school, or combined teaching, depending on school capacity in line with the assessment of task force at the level of DKA and school.
Meanwhile, the second phase begins on September 21st, which includes classes 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12, according to scenario B, that is, two days at school and three days online and at a distance.
Deputy Minister of Education in Kosovo Xhavit Rexhaj has said all preparations have been made for the start of a new school year for several classes, on September 14th.
Additional preparations have been needed to provide security in time of pandemic.
Even so, if a student inside the classroom is infected with coronarys, Deputy Minister Rexhaj says that they have seen all those students, who have been an opportunity to contact, go online in order not to distribute COVID-19, which causes the virus.
There's no lesson to students, but the whole class is going online if there are cases of infected students. As far as teachers are concerned, Kosovo has about 3 thousand overfished teachers, and as hours double due to online change and learning, we have provided the municipalities with support up to a way to compensate for the increased work volume, Rexhaj said.
