China has published the balance of new cases with COVID-19.
China reported eight new cases with COVID-19 on 24 September, compared to seven cases discovered the previous day, the national health authority said Friday, Reuters reports, broadcast news.
The National Health Commission said in a statement that all new cases were imported infections involving travelers from abroad.
The number of new asimtomatic cases China does not classify as confirmed COVID-19 patients dropped to 18 from 20 a day ago.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 infections on China's territory now stands at 85,322, while the total death toll remained unchanged at 4,634.
