The Croatian member of Bosnia and Herzegovina's tripartite presidency, Zelko Komsic, demanded that the extraordinary session of the head of the State Council on the proposal for recognition of the Republic of Kosovo be held Wednesday.
On the other hand, Milorad Dodik, a Serb presidency member, demanded that a session be held tomorrow, where the initiative for the Bosnia Embassy's shift from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would be discussed.
But the Balkan Radio Service Free Europe was confirmed by the Bosnian Presidency that neither of these sessions will be held tomorrow.
On Wednesday, US Assistant Secretary of State Matthew arrives in Bosnia Palmer, who will meet with presidency members.
Dodik said Tuesday in Mostar that Palmer is informed about the initiative to shift the Bosnian Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Komsup said this warning is “hipocryrizi” and that there is no one in Bosnia who is more against American interests than Dodik.
Dodik has been under US sanctions since 2017 for disrespecting Bosnia and Herzegovina's Constitutional Court decision to stop organising a referendum.
Otherwise, last week, Serbia, under an agreement with Kosovo signed in Washington, has agreed to shift its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
But Jerusalem's status is an issue of disagreement between the state of Israel and the Palestinian authorities.
Israel claims it whole as its capital, while Palestinians see East Jerusalem, which was occupied by Israel in 1967, as the capital of their future state.
In 2017, the United States of America has decided to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and, on the basis of that decision, held the embassy in Jerusalem.
However, no country has taken such a step from the European Union.
