Macedonia's first Deputy Prime Minister, Artan Grubi and his Kosovo counterpart, Besnik Tahiri, during the media conference they had today said that during their meeting they have talked about opening the border between the two countries without PCR test. Grubi and Tahiri said that opening borders would greatly affect both countries' economy as well as citizens.

-My position is that our borders should be liberalised by the example of borders between Kosovo and Albania, which are open and you have extraordinary movements between the two countries, in particular in the tourist season and infectious transmission of the 19 from Albania to Kosovo and vice versa, said Artan Grubi, the first deputy prime minister.

Kosovo's Deputy Prime Minister Tahiri said that during the meeting they have discussed three important topics for both countries, such as the European integration process, the Skopje-Blace road and the opening of borders.

-To me it's completely unreasonable that we have a bilatreal testing system while with Albania it's open, the exchange of citizens between Kosovo and Albania has been enormous,- said Besnik Tahiri, Kosovo's deputy prime minister.
