The BIK's announcement reportedly has been made following the government's recent decisions on easing anti-Vivid-19 virus measures.
“Following the analysis of new measures of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo decided to suspend the decisions and recommendations of the letter number 42720, the 1403.20, so from now on Islamic Community Councils in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo are allowed to hold religious ceremonies: teaching, burials, comforts of pay, cells and other monitoring ceremonies, the decision said.
Under this decision, all these religious activities and ceremonies are subject to IKSHP arrangements and recommendations as well as O protocols BSH with regard to COVID 19 pandemic
