Silvio Berlusconi says that doctors treating him at the hospital, for COVID-19, have told him he was number 1 in the severity of his viral load and that he is struggling to get out of this terrible disease.
The former Italian prime minister, who was admitted to the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan on Thursday, made his comments in a call with a candidate from his party, The Force Italy, during an electoral rally for regional elections in the Aosta Valley.
The 83-year-old said that out of thousands of coronary tests conducted at this hospital, doctors had told him he had the worst viral load.
“Virus is very bad”, he said, “I'm doing my best, I hope I get out and return to normal”.
Berlusconi's situation continues to improve”, his doctor, Alberto Zagrilo, confirms. The latter said Berlusconi, who was subjected to heart surgery at the same hospital in 2016, had an average lung infection as a result of Covid-19. Even the daughter of the former prime minister, Marina Berlusconi, has resulted in positive results for the choreography.
Other children, Luigi and Barbara, as well as their girlfriend, Martha Fascina, also have the virus.
