Bajrami: Pull from the Trust to help the economy, not social assistance for people

Finance Minister Hykmete Bajrami has said that the possibility of attracting 10 per cent of the pension fund is not considered as social assistance to Kosovo citizens, but as “transfusion for the economy”. Bajrami has said that at this point, included in the draft economic recovery law, the government Hoti has been aiming to have increased aggregate demand.
As a government we've sold as a provision for help to citizens. Aggregate demands increase. Maybe the citizen who has nine Euros doesn't go. That's a wish. He needs more, but this measure became exclusively to increase aggregate demand. You saw that there was aggregate request. It's designed to help the economy, not in social terms. We have other measures for them. We have decided today that families in social assistance by the end of the year split 7.5m euros. They too are from the financial recovery fund”, she said at KTV, adding that they have great citizen pressure for the extent of the withdrawal of 10 percent of Trust funds.
“There's a citizen who pulls the tools for storage. Those who pull them right away will get them into the economy. We need infusion in the economy. We don't help citizens by giving them their own money. All citizens with accounts are being defeated, we are forcing them. There are those who are interested in attracting 10 percent”, she has declared further.
She has said the economic recovery bill must be passed on to the first reading in order to have attitudes with the opposition. However, she has said that the state's proposal for compensation for the withdrawal of 10 per cent for those who have less than ten thousand euros from the Trust would become constitutional violations because social inequality is created.
