The chairman of independent Kosovo private sector unions, Yusuf Azemi, has announced that during the next day, they have organised a protest to counter the failure to include technical workers in additional wage lists by the government.
The main point of why we're protesting tomorrow is not going to be putting salaries on the employee stimulus list, since the Ministry of Health has decided that the medical staff will pay for an additional 300 euros in the coming months, then on the basis of the tests we've done, we see that the same patients have direct contact with technical workers. We have almost as much risk to technical workers as doctors”.
We say that doctors have very little of the incentive they've given them, but we've asked our organs that if there's going to be any measure or effect of why private sector workers, either hospital technical workers, QMFs and ambulances are not equal to doctors”.
If it's professional, then we're saying they're higher, but the life of a man, whether a doctor or a technical worker is equal, so besides what we need to get on the list, we think the Ministry of Health and Government should apologize to technical workers for this split that they've made”.
We've made a good arrangements for a protest tomorrow that patients will not hurt much. One hour we won't provide services, but the effect is to conscious people”
We're asking to get into these lists, we want to be equal, or otherwise let's argue that why we're not equal to medical personnel”, Azemi has declared in an interview for Klan Kosova.
