Hundreds of students went out last evening in Portsmouth to mark the start of the new university year.

And as noted by photos published by foreign media, social distance seemed a little difficult for some students after they had set up several drinks and were tempted to make new friends.

Young people are also seen talking in the middle of the street, and others waiting in line to enter nightclubs. This year, students are returning to university under a bit of strange circumstances because of Coddy-19.
