After a decade of intense investigation, yesterday, The Hague Special Prosecutor of Tribunal has made it possible, realizing the first arrest, that of Salih Mustaf, known as Cali.

The prosecution, in a press release, has indicated that Mr. Mustafa is suspected that during wartime, in a centre of the KLA on the outskirts of Pristina, he has participated in the illegal detention and torture of civilians. It is suspected that a person has lost his life. Mustafa after the war has been engaged in the KPC and later in the KSF.

Express has learned, through its sources, that now the Special Tribunal Prosecutor has no intention of stopping. These sources say that in the coming days there may be other arrests of former KLA soldiers who have not had high positions.

It is now known that in February, this Tribunal's prosecutor had handed the proposals to judges, who within six months would have to confirm or reject prosecutors' claims.

That deadline was fulfilled in half of August, while the latest arrest was born of those proposals. Of course, Cal's arrest is not and he can't be alone.

In addition to the February month proposal, the prosecution submitted several other proposals -- including KLA leaders, including Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and PDK chairman Hashim Thaci -- to April. Kadri Wessel. The deadline for confirmation of these charges is October, though they may be confirmed earlier.

Last week has been full of developments in relation to Tribunal. The War Veterans' Association has continued to publish some files that have originated from the Tribunal. An unidentified person has sent thousands of pages of files to the Society's headquarters.
