North Korea has issued strict orders for soldiers and police to shoot at anyone entering 800m into the Communist state territory on the border with China. This command has been given as an attempt to prevent the spread of the coronary.
Police in the town of Howyong have said they would shoot anyone entering this distance, despite reason, the RFA reports. This decision is being implemented across the entire border with China, which is over 4,000 miles [1,400 km] long.
Soldiers and police have been sent weapons and ammunition to the border to implement this ruthless policy, while no one will take responsibility in case of the victims within such a distance.
Korean Special Forces have been sent to the border with the reasoning to help them, but the RFA actually writes that this is actually a movement to observe the guards, as there is fear of their corruption, which can be paid for smuggling goods.
