Invited to the studio today in Rudina has been a doctor who inspired us with her story. While she is waiting sweetly, she is currently in charge on the front line of inviting against Avid-19 and continues to serve infected patients.
It's about the doctor who specializes in anesthesia services intensive care, Krisli Seran, who has shown how she has coped with this period and how she received the news of pregnancy in pandemic times
Rudina Wizard: How has this period been for you?
Krisli Serani: It was an unplanned pregnancy that came as a surprise both to me and to my husband. A pregnancy that took time for me to admit, but in the meantime, it had begun, Covid had started, and I had done it with my friends because I was disobedient to being pregnant because I couldn't believe it. Most of the staff found out late. They found out when my belly began to look. Our job is like that, you go, you change, you put on your suit and you go straight to work, you don't have time to see how you're dressed today or how beautiful you're made today. To some extent they learned from the pictures I had taken
Rudina Wizard: Were your relatives worried about you continuing to work after you found out you were pregnant?
Krisli Serani: Arsel has been very supportive, I have a very good friend before he is my husband. I told my mother late because she was Pandemia, I was isolated from the household, they lived in Durres, me in Tirana. After they found out, you're sure you're going to keep working, but they know I'm a doctor and better than I am, someone didn't know.
Rudina Wizard: Are you worried about yourself?
Krisli Serani: In some moments, yes, but more than concern was caution. Be careful to get dressed, careful when we were naked, careful when working with patients. There's never been a shortage of clothes, masks, and I felt safe. If I didn't feel safe, I wouldn't work.
Rudina Wizard: What has been the most difficult moment during this period in your work
Krisli Serani: There hasn't been a hard time. The hard time was when we lost our battles with patients. The psychological and emotional charge at that time is difficult not only for me but also for all the staff there.
Rudina the Wizard; How have you coped with these situations?
Krisli Serani: Our profession has many lost battles, and many battles have been won, but I don't know why we are left in mind and trapped in the heart of those bad times. Just as there are many beautiful moments in which a serious patient you've been following, serving them, manages to leave the hospital. My colleagues and I cried and laughed together.
Rudina Wizard: When did you get home?
Krisli Serani: I've been isolated, I've lived only in rented homes here in Tirana because my husband still lives in France. Because of the pandemic he couldn't come and it was very difficult that I didn't have people I love, but working with my colleagues was very simple and beautiful.
