Interior Minister Agim Veliu at the Assembly hearing has reported the entry of Serbian Army troops to Karaceevo.
Veliu before the deputies has declared that the issue has been dealt with urgently.
“over the past month we witnessed reporting about the case of the Serbian forces' entry into Kosovo. Given the sensitivity of the case, I, as minister, have addressed this issue of emergency”, the Minister of Internal Affairs has declared.
According to him, this event occurred on August 7th at about 17:30.
“Based in my meetings, the reports of KFOR's security organs, and the testimony of citizens can be confirmed that by August 7th around 17:30, the movement of military forces in Karacewe” has been observed, he said.
Veliu has added that he has spoken to KFOR on this subject and other security organs in the country.
We talked to the police first, KFOR, my adviser, has several times been negotiating the scene, as well as at the prime minister's request this issue has been discussed with members of national security”, Veliu has said.
