55m wood confiscated at Ferizaj

From the Ferizaj municipality, they have indicated that this was done in co-operation between police and the Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.

The municipality disclosed that the timber mass being circulated by the Kacanik municipality was completely without necessary documents.

Agriculture and Forestry Directorate Director Burim Bajrami, following the work of Forestry Sector officials at his directorate, said that this and similar action is under way and will take place in the future, with the goal of punishing the perpetrators as well as protecting forests throughout Ferizaj' territory.

He is also quoted as saying that co-operation with security institutions, the Police Station in Ferizaj, for which he expresses public thanks, gave the necessary results.

Handing the seized amount of timber made KRM employees “Purgeria”.

It becomes known that this amount of confiscated timber will be treated with regular procedure to separate Scam families in Ferizaj.
