The worldwide COVIED-19 Pandemia also thwarted the plans of many couples who had decided to crown their love.
Many married without a wedding, and others decided to postpone it for the next year.
But pandemic has also affected the decline in the number of divorces in our country.
According to the “Buletin Three-month T2” report, published by the Kosovo Statistics Agency, 114 couples in Kosovo were divorced in the first six months of this year, while 5 thousand and 633 Kosovars were married.
In January, that report ended singleness, and 57 couples divorced.
In February, there were still numerous marriages, with between 1,000 and 515 persons crowning their marriage, while the divorce rate was smaller this month, only 17.
The month of March also found Kosovo with large numbers of wreaths, where 1,000 and 698 couples married, while another 37 decided to end their marriage.
And from April through June, there was a decline in divorce.
There were no divorced ones in April, and the marriage was 78. In May, only two couples were divorced, and another 281 were married. And in June, 179 couples married, and only 1 pair divorced.
Based on the report for the second quarter of 2019 published by the AKS, years between January 1st and June were crowned 9 thousand and 27 pairs, while the number of divorces was 320.
