The purpose of this visit was to see the work of this division, which operates within the framework of the Department of State, Asylum and Migration, and is responsible for reviewing and establishing citizenship applications.
Also, during this visit, Minister Veliu was announced with the work and application process and was assured that the criteria and legal requirements are and will be respected in all cases indiscriminately.
During 2019 this division has reviewed 66,000 visa-free-negotiation requirements and 1444 visa requirements, while so far, in 2020, it has reviewed over 40,000 requirements for permission to stay.
