In August 31st, 298 people lost their battle with the virus. This represents an average of nearly 10 deaths per day.

In August, Kosovo entered with 8330 confirmed positive cases. On July 31st, 227 deaths were recorded as a result of the virus. Now, the eighth month of the year is closing with 13 thousand and 454 registered as infected and 525 victims. For just 31 days this month, 5124 new positive cases -- or 165 positive cases per day -- have been recorded in Kosovo.

The most affected municipality remains Pristina with more than 4,200 positive cases.

The worst day of August for Kosovo was August 6th with 16 victims, Time broadcasts. As for new cases, the worst day was August 3rd, with 250 cases.
