More than 26 671 700 cases of COVID-19 have been officially diagnosed in 196 countries since the beginning of the epidemic, of which 17 496 300 are now considered a cure.
This number of diagnosed cases does not reflect the actual number of contaminants, as many countries test only cases that need hospital service because of low depision capacities.
Last day 50693 dead and 305 583 new cases have been recorded in the world. Countries that have registered the most dead in their balances are India, with 1089 victims, the US with 998 victims and Brazil with 888 victims.
The U.S. is the most affected country by both the death toll and the 187 777 deaths for 6202-53 recorded cases, according to Johns Hopkins University data. At least 2 283 454 people have been declared healed.
After the U.S., the most affected countries are Brazil with 125502 deaths for 4 091 801 cases, India with 69561 deaths in 4 023 179 cases, Mexico with 66 851 deaths for 623 090 cases, and Great Britain with 41 537 deaths in 342351 cases.
