Today it is 22 years since Doctor and Humanist Rescue Robaj fell into war as he went to heal the wounds of freedom fighters and the civilian population.
Robaj was born on October 15, 1957, in Prizren. Initial lessons were learned at the school “Meto Bajraktari” in Pristina, where his family had been displaced at the time. High school finished in Gjimnazin “Sami Frasher” The successful head of the Faculty of Medicine in Pristina.
He, being a prominent homeland doctor and humanitarian doctor since the beginning of the Kosovo Liberation Army war, shows interest in helping the war and the wounded. With this patriotic goal, without delay he has contacted the directors of the Drenica Military Hospital in Licoc since April 1998, through Imer Halim.
His assistance as anesthesiologist in healing KLA fighters and superiors was irreplaceable, as health stations did not have such necessary equipment.
Its credit is the acquisition and establishment of Rentgen's technique with relevant equipment in Licoc, the technique was carried by Zenel Kastrati and Shaban Hoxhaj.
In spring and summer 1998, Robaj Rescue takes part in the medical treatment and healing of many freedom fighters, but also members of the civilian population in Brendanca, Ponorc, Gradica, Senik, Gajrak, and other war areas.
Upon hearing the news of the massacre committed by Serbian forces against the Deliu family in Abri of Drenica, Shblirim Robaj along with doctors Chen Bytyci, Ilir Tolaj, Osman Sefiyj, Ymer Aliu and a team of the International Red Cross head towards Abria in order to help the many injured, but the truck in which they were located falls into mines set by the Serbian occupier, as a result of which receives deadly wounds.
News of the loss of Doctor Salvation was met with grief in the family and in his colleagues.
The Robaj family has received gratitude for the witness from General Staff KLA, Ministry of Defense of the Interim Government, humanitarian health associations, etc.
