Albania's Health Ministry reports that over the past 24 hours, 161 new cases and 3 loss of life have been recorded as a result of Covid-19.
The good news is that in the last 24 hours 97 citizens have been healed, bringing the number of cured to 6443.
Also, from epidemiological data, the incidence of the past two weeks is 62.9 cases/ 100,000 people. Compared to the 2 week-long record of the preceding weeks, there is a slight decline, but this is an important moment to remember the importance of keeping rules, as opening and school may have impacts on the epidemic situation.
Infective Hospital and “Shefqet Ndkoqi” is treating 188 patients, 21 in intensive therapy from which 7 patients are assembled. Unfortunately, three people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours. An 80-year-old from Shkodra, an 82-year-old and 90-year-old from Tirana, could not win the battle with the disease.
The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is the following:
54 cases in Tirana, 20 cases in Elbasan, 13 cases in Korca,
11 cases in Kukes, 10 cases in Durres, Lezha,
Nine cases in Kruja, six cases in Pogradec, four cases in Kamuz,
3 cases in Shkodra, Devall, Cavaille, Vlora, 2 cases in Gramsh,
On one occasion, in Has, Lusnje, Puka, Mirday, Berat, Librazd, Permet, Great Mountain, Shijak, Maliq.
