President Donald Trump's special emissary, Richard Green, has spoken about criticism after signing the Kosovo-Serbia agreement on economic normalisation.
The fact is that the agreement exists and implementation is beginning, is a very literal process. I understand that political people are critical, we're super proud of this deal, and you'll see it over the months and years that are not the empty statement”, Yerenelli said at a news conference after meeting with Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti.
President Trump boasts this historic agreement, we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for President Trump. It has pledged economic normalisation between the two countries. After the signing, President Trump told us to go and implement the agreement, don't just leave the word”, Grenelli added.
While, chief executive of the US International Finance and Development Corporation (DFC) Adam Behehler said they will invest $100m in Kosovo.
“100m dollars will invest in Kosovo, we've come with colleagues to show you how serious we are. We are here to sign an agreement and invest”, he said.
The US delegation is being led by the chief executive of the US International Finance and Development Corporation (DFC) Adam Boehler, special envoy for dialogue Richard Green, representative of the U. AID, head of the United States Export-Import Bank (EXIM), as well as other senior government officials from the US Energy and Trade Departments.
