Kosovo's first prime minister, Dr. Bajram Rexhepi remains one of the most emblems of the new state and the town of Mitrovica. Humanist Bayram was on the front lines of the war front to help civilians and wounded KLA soldiers.

Bajrami, an honest politician, accepted one of the most difficult post-war challenges, serving as Kosovo's unifying prime minister in one of the most troubled political and social periods. He had vision, courage, and courage to lead with responsibility; to speak out about issues that were not reconciled and to make difficult decisions in the country's service.

He never left his homeland, Mitrovica. As mayor of the city, Bajrami was distinguished as a politician who is led by public interest. He will remain long in memory of this beloved city.
