Vetevendosje Movement MP Lieburn Aliu declares that the talks between Kosovo and Serbia have no meaning to take place without the winner of the elections, while arguing that the country in this process is being represented by people without legitimacy and inadequacy.

Thursday's meeting in Brussels and what you expected to hold in Washington between the two countries, Aliu views as meaningless, as the winning election party is missing.

Despite calling them legitimate, Aliu says Kosovo negotiators are dangerous because they have signed harmful agreements for the country in the past.

“Negotiations do not make sense without the election winner. So there is absolutely no sense of negotiating without the winner of the election, but their insistence that they make is quite frightening because having the experience from the past, seeing what happened in the past, that they have been willing to sign harmful agreements for the country, there is still a danger that they will sign something dangerous about our country. So, they're both legitimate and they're dangerous, that's the most important”, he says.

The Kosovo delegation in these talks sees Ali as unprepared compared to Serbia's delegation, as he also shows why they have rejected Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti's invitation to attend Washington's meeting.

Meetings are being made by non-legal, incompetent and extremely weak representatives towards Serbia... There is no need to decipher the situation further, it is extremely clear that the Serbian delegation has come across the Kosovo delegation is extremely comfortable and very prepared. These guys in front of them are much weaker and I don't expect them to bring any results, except that they don't have legitimacy at all... Prime Minister Hoti has sent an invitation that someone from LVVV has asked to be part of the delegation, we should once again clearly say that negotiations with Serbia should have new legitimacy, build on a clear platform and have political unity. There can be no unity without legitimacy and there can be no negotiations with Serbia without the winner of the” election, Aliu says.

He views going to the elections as necessary, but says all other parties are fearing the elections. That intimidation, according to Aliu, concerns the fact that Vetevendosje will be the first party.

LVV has started collecting signatures for the collapse of the Hoti Government, however, Aliu says that to bring down the government needs PDK votes.

In spite of that, he says it is possible that the country will go to the polls during this year.

Our “has been to initiate this motion, it certainly cannot be done without the PDK votes, we have 30 votes, now we have 31 in the Parliamentary Group. LVV with its own parliamentary group has 31, it takes 61 to bring down the government, with 31 not to collapse, but by 31 the government is not built, that's LVV's force now in the Assembly. So, we can't bring it down, but we can't, but we can't have 31, if we had 61 done this job and it can't fall apart without other political factors, without the other political parties, in this case without the PDK, which is a force of opposition, but now she has chosen not to make the motion, has chosen to vote on the budget, has chosen to keep the current policy alive that is degrading the place of more”, but is where he is staying.

As for AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj's statement that he will be a candidate for president, Aliu says they see him with scepticism because of the past in the case of demarcation with Montenegro.

He says he cannot support someone, who, according to him, has knowingly given Kosovo territory another state.

But, on the other hand, he says this Haradinaj proposal for president may only be to put pressure related to compromises in the government.

We don't think much of it that it's persistent, I think it's more of a matter of pressure related to compromises in government. So given the AAK's weight, given the way these political subjects do shopping and agree with each other, they are pushed to positions and so on. Then this request for president may be compensated for with a minister and solved this problem. So, it serves ultimately as an advantage of the evental markets for the government”, he says.

On the president's theme, Aliu says how Vetevendosje has not yet discussed, but would like a president who is acceptable and unites political forces in the country.

Since days ago it has been five years since the signing of demarcation with Montenegro and Brussels' agreement on establishing the Serbian Communist Association, Aliu says both prepare the grounds for the country's division.

Despite the fact that they appear to be on two different issues, they eventually strike at the same point, strike at the divide and prepare grounds for real separation. We must remember that these ethnic entities are preceded by an entire negotiation process, since Vienna negotiations in succession through ethnic decentralisation, have been created within Kosovo, where their borders are defined. Then it was worked on the horizontal link between them, with the vertical link to Belgrade and towards the eventual division aimed at it. We've been warning this since 2005, so in 2005 when we've been talking about decentralisation, when we've rejected it as the Vetevendosje decentralisation movement we have seen this end and now that we have arrived at the point when the agreement for Association has been signed is de facto the creation of a situation like Bosnia in Kosovo”, he says.

As for demarcation with Montenegro, he says he creates a precedan where the loss of territory normalises.
