The Infectious Clinic is expected to soon publish scientific work with rapid tests from Israel. USKKKK Director Valbon Krasniqi's task officer has said the first results of this research are encouraging.
According to the research thus far, he says that at the end of recovery, the highest percentage that have resulted in positive results have created immunity, and that is in hospital patients.
The Infectal Clinic staff at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo will soon come up with results of research for COVID-19, which has been launched by May, through rapid tests, donated by Israel.
Although this research and statistics has not yet been finalised, Krasniqi has said the first results of this research are encouraging.
“We have not yet been able to complete the process of statistics, but we have received 20 patients based on research that were then lying in our clinic, and we've done two-fold rappid tests on the 10th or 12th day of the disease to see if IEM class antibodies are being formed and then at the end of the recovery when they resulted in testing PCR”, Krasniqi said.
Krasniqi has made it known that another group of patients from 20 outside people who have resulted positive in glutton and glutton, but have passed the disease in mild form or asmptomatic forms, so they have been extraspital patients.
And the third group of subjects in the study, we've had 20 health workers who we've worked for the most part since the start with patients COVID. The first results are encouraging. We haven't done final statistical processing of these results, but from what we've seen in most of the people we've tested between 10 and 14 days are starting to react to the creation of antibodies over 80 percent of them”, Krasniqi said.
Meanwhile, according to research, it shows that at the end of recovery, the highest percentage that have resulted in positive results have created immunity, and that in hospital patients.
There's also a relatively large percentage that have reacted to the creation of antibodies, and in health staff we have a smaller number that is also expected, so we have a symbolic staff that has resulted from the presence of antibodies and that there have been no symptoms of whether they were infected or not, Krasniqi said, adding that they are at the conclusion of this research that will soon be published with final results.
