At least five people have lost their lives in the tropical Isaiah storm that destroyed the eastern coast of the United States, and hundreds of thousands of people are still without electricity.
After striking North Carolina as a category hurricane one day on Monday, Jesse weakened into a tropical storm and headed along the Atlantic Coast.
It has now arrived in Canada, where it hopes to be distributed, according to the Hurricane National Centre (NHC).
Tornado collapsed a house in North Carolina and killed two people, Governor Roy Cooper said.
Two other people were killed falling trees in their cars, one in New York and one in Maryland.
At Delaware, a resident (80) lost his life from a tree branch. About three million people have been affected by power cuts, especially in Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut states.
