Northern Macedonia will seek Kosovo citizens' negative test for coronarys as well as for transitary crossings through its territory.
So has Minister of Health Venko Filipce made it known after the meeting of the Infectious Disease Commission, where the proposal has also emerged due to the reportedly poor epidemiology situation with coronarys in Kosovo.
“Passengers crossing must show a test The negative PCR no longer than 72 hours” has announced.
Test PCR determines whether a person is infected with coronary by the time he is tested.
The decision is expected to pass to Macedonian government meetings and will immediately take effect.
Northern Macedonia in June has imposed bans on entry for citizens of Kosovo, Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia by asking for a negative test for COVID-19 disease, which causes coronary, but has allowed their transitation.
Such a move with North Macedonia from June has applied Kosovo, stopping even the transitary crossings, unless the crossings are organised.
Meanwhile, Serbia from last week has again imposed the measure of ban on the entry of citizens of Northern Macedonia into its territory without a negative test.
Northern Macedonia on Tuesday has registered two victims and 108 people infected with coronarys from 1,902 tested samples.
The victims are from Kumanovo, while the largest number of infected people has registered in Skopje, with a total of 45 cases.
According to Health Ministry data, out of 13,076 persons diagnosed with COVID-19, 551 of them have died, 9,625 have recovered, while 2,900 are still active.
To date, 130,840 people have been tested in northern Macedonia. /rel
