According to the agency, company equipment “BGI Genomics” cannot see the difference between the very low level of infection and the negative result, Reuters reports.
“The provider must adjust the required performance to use this test,” said Karin Tegmark Vissel, director of the Department of Microbiology.
She added that the same testing equipment was exported to other countries, but did not elaborate on that.
Wrong results had little effect on statistics on the number of persons infected with the Corona virus.
The agency today reported that since the outbreak of pandemic, 86,891 cases of Corleone have been confirmed, while 5,814 people have died.
