Health Minister Armenmen Zemaj, accompanied by the chairman of the Kosovo Competition Authority, Valon Prestreshi at a media conference, have declared that private institutions that have been licensed for serial testing and PCR will be monitored and no price deals that harm citizens will be allowed.
Zemaj said they have agreed that this process will be developed by respecting competition policies by not allowing monopoly and that this process will be monitored by all institutions.
The head of the Kosovar Competition Authority, Valon Prestreshi, guaranteed that this authority would support this process and allow no agreement on the trial service price among the labs licensed by the Ministry of Health.
He said that since the first days the money cases were presented in the country, mainly in April, they have encountered doubts about the price of disinfectant and alcohol and that they are dealing with the issue.
