A 12-year-old and his family have experienced sad moments over the past few months, that is because the boy was diagnosed with cancer.
Cody Lockey of Great Britain began to show symptoms of coronary, such as cough and fever. His parents, concerned about his health, sent him to the hospital. But once they get there they've got very sad news. Tests showed that the boy was not infected with the virus but suffered from acute leukemia. Fortunately, cancerous cells were not found in the spinal cord, but the baby has to start chemotherapy sessions.
For three days Cody felt tired, coughed and fevered. Being in this situation, we thought he was infected with COVID-19. We sent the boy to the hospital and waited anxiously for the test's answers, but when the doctors told us that he was suffering from cancer, we became extremely sad”, Cody's mother, Lisa, said.
