Under the argument that the section near the monastery is a protected area, the institutions responsible for halting the work in the area.
And after stopping these works, Prime Minister Hoti ordered that they be suspended, which prompted reactions from all sides in Kosovo.
The self-determination movement, the AAK's Initiative, were some of the parties that rejected the ban on these works.
Meanwhile, analysts estimate that this problem in this part mostly suits Serbia's state.
Analyst Ramush Tahiri says the same Manastir has done similar actions long ago, while not taking this road as a serious obstacle.
Tahiri considers it a damage to Kosovo, the myth of history by Serbs, against the state of Kosovo.
Meanwhile, Faton Abdullah, says these debates, no matter why they are sensitive, should not distract the Kosovo team at the Washington meeting.
Abdullahu says the Serbian state has a sophisticated mechanism as well as an aggressive diplomacy against the state of Kosovo, so a unification is needed on the Kosovo political scene.
On September 2nd, the meeting will be held between the Kosovo and Serbian parties in Washington, while it is unknown whether it will be discussed on that meeting.
