Four Serbs fired gunfire on Mokna Mountains, police arrest

Kosovo police, Istog Police Station, dated 15 August 2020 about 500, were informed by a citizen, that in Berek (Mokna), they are listening to gunfire.

Police units at the Istog Police Station have immediately responded to the police station, and they have arrived at the scene at the scene called (Savina voda), in Berechten (Mokna) Istog, by police officials originally observed the situation, and after a short time they heard shots from fire weapons, police immediately took the right action at three (3) distance from around 100 meters, they were located at a certain location of <x> and several vehicles were there.

Kosovo police in full co-ordination with the state prosecutor have begun controlling tents, cars and people present, at this location, found and confiscated:

• A (1) M57-type pistol with a (1) mag and 24 bullets,

• One (1) CZ99-type pistol with two (2) mag and 15 bullets,

• One (1) AK47-type automatic rifle with two (2) mag and 92 rounds,

• A (1) rifle (carabine) with a (1) flowered from the same rifle

• A (1) 14 - bullet hunting rifle.

Regarding this case they've been arrested four dozen suspects:

• R.C. Born in 1972, the village of Zubke- Zubin Potok

• P. Born 1984 Mitrovica

• G.M. Born in 1971, Mitrovica

• M.W. Born in 1993 Zubin Potok.

The suspects after the investigation was interviewed, at the order of the state prosecutor, were assigned police detention measures and sent to holding for 48 hours.
