News of Kosovo Press has been confirmed by the court's spokeswoman, Mirlinda Gashi.
In a written response, convict Etem Arifi is said to have accepted the Kosovo Court of Appeals ruling, which he has been denied as unbashed, and the Constitutional Court ruling in Pristina has become all-powerful.
“sentenced E.A. It would have had to be announced after the decision was accepted at the Centre for Punishment of Prison Punishment, but after the same was not announced, the court has issued a warrant for detention, arrest, and sending the same to the suffering of a” prison sentence, Gashi said.
Arifi has been sentenced to one year and three months in prison for the criminal work “subsidies”.
According to the court's ruling, MP Eem Arifi, along with Bajram Gashi, director of the NGO “Ashkali voice”, have adopted about 26 thousand euros.
Despite the condemnation of 2019's firm form, MP Arifi managed to participate in two important sessions of the Kosovo Parliament, seeking to postpone the execution of the sentence for, as he claimed, health causes. This request was approved by the Pristina Foundation Court.
At the first important session, on March 25th, Arifi voted to oust the government headed by Albin Kurti. In the second, June 3rd, his vote was crucial to forming the Avdullah Hoti Government.
MP Arifi's vote prompted numerous debates over the legality of his vote.
