After publishing official documents about the murder of Ukshi Hoti by the Serbian state in 1999, Justice Minister Selim Selimi has reacted.
Selimi has written on Facebook that the government of Serbia despite the fact that he has information about Ukshin Hoti's fate has never published them.
“The screening of the documentary “councils” in RTK has shed light on the murder of Uksin Hoti, based on a document stemming from Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs. Serbia's government, despite the fact that there is information about Uksin Hoti's fate, has never published them and has taken no action to bring the suspects to justice, as it has not done for any crime committed during the war in Kosovo”, Selimi wrote.
He has said further that it is unacceptable to equalise Kosovo at the dialogue table, which is the aggressor, in this case.
Moreover, the disbalancing of international pressure for war crimes against Kosovo is unacceptable compared to that against Serbia and that the aggressor equalizes the victim on the table of dialogue. Kosovo will not stop seeking justice for Ukshi Hoti and all those Kosovo citizens whose fate is not known 21 years after the war. We will not allow crimes to go unpunished”, the minister wrote.
