Today, ten years are filled by the death of prominent national activity - Sabit Wessel.
Sabes Wessel from his early youth from the age of 17, had vowed that he would never stop acting and fought until the liberation of the country from the occupants.
His determination had been observed in 1981 when he organized powerful demonstrations against invaders in Mitrovica. Sabit's great engagement in the 1981 demonstrations brought him to the attention of UDB spies, who were arrested and sentenced to 7 and a half years in prison a few days later.
Wessel continued his organizational life after his release from prison to continue it throughout the years of dealt with 90 to organise and develop the liberation war by the Kosovo Liberation Army.
Sabit Wessel has suffered a tragic loss of life in a traffic accident in the village of Kushtova in Mitrovica on August 6, 2010.
