A report from “Reuters” says hackers had intervened in Liam Fox accounts several times in mid-July until the end of October 2019.
Fox was the international trade minister in Prime Minister Theresa May's cabinet, but he lost that role on July 24th on the cabinet's reshuffle case after Boris Johnson won the conservative party's presidential election.
It is still not known which of the accounts has been avenged, that ministers or parliamentary ones.
Among the stolen information were the trade negotiations between the United States and the United Kingdom.
Secretary of Foreign Affairs Domenic Rahaab accused Russian “of interfering with the December general elections in 2019, as well as of distributing sensitive documents on social networks.
Liam Fox was nominated by Great Britain last month for director general of the World Trade Organisation, EuroNews writes.
