Protests against racism in America: The name of the cop who killed Jacob Blake became known

Rusten Seskey, who was employed by the Kenosha police department for seven years now, was the person who was recorded until he shot seven times on the back of Blake, reports Guardian.

The murder of Block, 29, is seen as the last police incident using lethal force against Africans amid weeks of Black Lives Matter protests.

The US Justice Department said it had launched a civil rights investigation following this assassination that would be led by the FBI.

The murder of this man, who seemed to have no weapons during that time nor posed any danger to police officers, was seen in contrast with their response to a 17-year-old white man named Kyle Rittenhouse, who is being accused of shooting three people -- two already dead in the Kenosha protests -- and who was more than seen walking by gun in his hand being ignored by the police.
