In Montenegro, except for parliamentary elections, local elections are being held in five municipalities. In the municipality of Budva, the prorus and proserb coalition is firmly won.
After processing seven deployments (by 27), the coalition “S together for Montenegro's Future” led by Marko Bato Carevic won 48 per cent, coalition “Peace is our nation” 15 per cent of the vote, while the coalition around DPS is 15 per cent.
“DPS. When the regime attacked the church, we knew we would win,” said Carevic.
In Sveti Stefan's local community, the coalition around the Democratic Front won 285 votes, DPS 195, Democrats 75, URA 35 votes, Marko Bat Carevic's camp announced.
In the MZ Jaz, DPS won 138, the Coalition around DF 330, Democrats 109 votes.
“These two local communities are an indication of how Budva citizens voted,” said Marko Bato Carevic.
The Democratic Party of Socialists suffered the biggest defeat in history in Budva, GP URA official said. Zoran Mikiq.
At the “election headquarters for Budva's Future”, Carevic opened champagne and proclaimed victory.
