Apart from Pristina, no other municipality has started with serological tests

Nearly two weeks after Health Minister Armend Zemaj, through an administrative directive, gave the green light to municipalities to start the serial testing of citizens -- almost no municipality except the capital -- has managed to launch this test. While the Prizren municipality has asked the Public Procure Regulatory Commission to allow them to buy these tests with accelerated procedures.
Prizren municipality deputy head Wisar Shehu has stated that if they are allowed, then they can start testing in the next week, Koha reports.
While the director of Health in Pec, Petrit Loci, shows that this municipality after receiving information from the Ministry of Health that there is no funding from the central level for Serological tests, then they're looking at opportunities for them to share from the municipality budget.
On August 18th, Health Minister Armend Zemaj signed administrative guidelines that allowed municipalities to conduct Serological and PCR tests.
But, so far it's only the Pristina Community, which since July, has started testing its citizens through serial tests.
As the Serological testing began in over 100 private labs licensed by the Ministry of Health.
