Political unity required before Washington meeting, US to protect Kosovo's interests

Rexhepi added that he is very pleased with the US's actions in terms of the upcoming meeting, warned by 2 curtains at the White House.
“I am not involved in this process, but I am very pleased with the action that the United States of America once again set a different date and I hope for a preliminary unity from all of our political subject to have as efficient agreements”, he added.
According to him, reaching the Kosovo- Serbia depends not only on political factors in the country, but also on American and European allies.
“Achieving Kosovo- Serbia depends on many political factors not only on Albanians and Serbs, but also on European and American factors, because many actions must be taken to the final”, Rexhepi added.
He believes the US will continue to protect Kosovo's interests and achieve final recognition agreement by Serbia as a tendency for UN membership and other institutions.
“We are a state and have our representative Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and the United States of America and the European Union”.
“I believe that as the creator of the state of Kosovo, the US will continue and protect our interests and reach final agreement recognition of Kosovo from Serbia as a tendency for UN membership and other institutions”.
The US president's special envoy for Kosovo-Serbia talks, Richard Green, said Kosovo and Serbia leaders will meet at the White House for talks on September 2nd.
Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti confirmed that on September 2nd he will attend the meeting called in Washington.
He said that at this meeting, two independent states will meet with the Serbian side.
