The Democratic Party of Kosovo says the proposed economic recovery bill in the Kosovo Assembly does not address the country's problems with economy and pandemic. According to the party, attracting 10 per cent of savings to the Pension Trust will harm citizens, since the state will never repay these means.
Remember Gashi from the Democratic Party of Kosovo Parliamentary Group during the plenary session said they are demanding that this bill be withdrawn from the review today, as the same does not treat pandemic.
Besides, Gashi said it is a pity that today, while the Economic Recovery Bill is being discussed, the Minister of Economic Development and Industry is not present.
This bill can be anything else, but only the Law for Regeneration is not because the same does not address the country's problems with economy and pandemic. Even this law does not help health, the sector that is facing numerous problems in dealing with health personnel with the COVID-19”, he said.
He said that attracting 10 percent of savings to the Pension Trust would harm citizens, since the state will never repay these tools.
“So this means that those who pull the tools will even reduce their pension fund. So there will be 10 percent less tools perhaps even for their old age”, he added.
Among other things, Gashi said that by the time he governed LVV with the LDK, the party he participated in had presented a package of economic recovery worth 320m euros. According to him, this bill was ignored five months ago, which, he said, by this bill The PDK had envisioned concrete measures on how to manage the pandemic, but also on how to support the private sector.
