There are 27 respiratories in this clinic, but more than 50 percent are not exploited. That's because oxygen pressure is dropping.
KTV reports that there has been an expertise on this issue, which declassifiedly says that there is no treatment of more than 13 patients at the same time as respiratory.
However, Kosovo Clinical and University Service Director Valbon Krasniqi has declined to address the issue.
But Nehat Baftiu, chief of anesthesiology, has confirmed the problems in this unit.
There's been an analysis initiated and it's only been released for 13 respirators, it can withstand the oxygen system. So, the rest can't be used”.
In the clinic which is an investment of T IKAS, whose value was said to be about 2m euros, will again become an investment to solve the problem in two years.
The “Brend two weeks will have an intervention in the oxygen system to fix this issue. We believe it will not be a temporary solution, but a long-term”, he said.
In May 2018 this clinic has been inaugurated. The former minister, Ismaili Bridge, also attended the inauguration.
At the time, it was said that this unit was one of the most modern in the public health system.
But the beginning of the job was done without technical consent.
Turkey's Health Ministry agreed in 2013 on this investment. At the time, the minister was Ferid Aganus.
