O'Brien, the main figure after the Kosovo- Serbia

President Trump's National Security Adviser, Robert O'Brien, invited Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to the new circle of talks under the US auspices.

The announcement by O'Brien's office is said to be about economic issues at this meeting, because only this can be directed towards peace.

The topic of discussion is confirmed by the White House.

According to Americans at the September 2nd meeting, only economic issues will be discussed, meanwhile, Robert O'Brian, president Trump's security adviser, will be the host of both Kosovo and Serbian sides.

The United States is looking forward to these important discussions between Prime Minister Hoti and President Vucic. The US believes progress in economic issues is key to advancing the peace process”, Robert O'Brien's office said.

President Trump's weightiest security adviser, had prepared the grounds for the Kosovo mini-sam. Serbia weeks ago when he stayed in Europe.

He had met with top advisers of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron, where he made clear the US side of the deal to reach an economic deal between Pristina and Belgrade.

While Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucic, have confirmed that they have responded positively to the invitation to meet in the White House on September 2nd.

Both leaders have said that economic issues will be discussed at this meeting.

However, dialogue between these two states has resumed on 16 July in Brussels. This process, mediated by the European side, was launched in 2011.

It was blocked by November 2018, as Kosovo authorities had imposed taxes on Serbian goods.
