Respecting the distance and wearing the mask as two preventative measures for the prevention of Covid-19, Kosovo nurses and midwives at this time have protested before the Kosovo government. They are demanding that the night shift, which is paid 18 euros, be paid 36 euros.
Winning Havolli from the Kosovo Infermies and Mothers Union said that through this protest the government has demanded that the government turn its head towards this community, which is at the front with patients affected by Covid-19.
He said their request is for the night shift to be paid 36 euros, since currently the payment for night change is 18 euros.
Havolly said they are not seeking salary growth but are demanding that their demands by the government be addressed with priority.
In a symbolic way, nurses and midwives who today protested delivered their cloaks.
