After numerous reactions to television, the VV reasons: No frequency, no software schemes

The Vetevendosje movement has become the first political subject in Kosovo to have opened its television.

This move by the largest party currently in Kosovo has sparked numerous reactions.

But Vetevendosje officials have provided details about what this television is open about, which will be broadcast on the YouTube channel, and what it will contain.

Progress Kryeziu, spokesperson for information on the Vetevendosje Movement, has said that TVV, will not be similar to classical television, which will have neither national frequency nor programming scheme.

“TVV is a project of the Vetevendosje Movement, which is not even similar to classical television. There won't even be national frequencies, program schemes or other features that characterize conventional television”

“It is primarily seen as an additional space another platform, through which the Vetevendosje Movement and its officials represent their activities and positions”, Kryeziu has been expressed.

According to him, the opening of television is neither a response or criticism to the work of media and space that Vetevendosje officials have in the media. He has said that co-operation with media will continue in the future, as has been so far.

“is not critical of the media, it's just a continuation of the communication-shaped products that Vetevendosje Movement has with the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, as if it were behind such activities within its Facebook page”

“Co-operation will continue with the media, as has continued in the past. Everything will continue as it was in relation to the code”, Kryeziu has indicated.

Following news of the opening of this TV channel by Vetevendosje, there have been rumours that this channel would be used for propaganda by this party.

But the criticism has been prejudged, even because of lack of information, according to Kryeziu.

“Critics as welcome, have been a little impulsive and biased because they have had very little information on what to contain. And I'm sure that when this becomes clear that TVV is just an extra space platform and that doesn't change anything in the report that the VV and its officials have with other media, I think it won't be the same criticism”, the World Economics reports.

Meanwhile, the Federation of European Journalists has reacted after the Vetevendosje Movement yesterday publicly launched its party television as well.

As the EFJ writes, television opened by the party leading Albin Kurti Sʹka to deal with journalism and that it is only a propaganda tool at party service.

The new online TVV division in Kosovo, created directly by a political party. This isn't journalism. This is propaganda in the service of politicians”, said in response.
