In recent weeks almost every day the country has faced heavy rainfall.
Although farmers have caused trouble in the crops, as a result of these rainfalls, water levels have increased at Badovci Lake for 35cm.
This has been made known for KosovaPress, spokeswoman for the Regional Waterwork “K RU Pristina”
The water level in Badoci Lake is 640.35m above sea level or 9.50m below the maximum quota, while in seven days, after the rains there was a growth of just 35cm”, the doctor showed in a response to KosovaPress.
Water - level growth also took place in Lake Batlava. The water level there has increased by 1.44 meters.
The water level at Batlava Lake is 630.20m above sea level or 4.80m below sea level, while in seven days there is an increase of 144 m”, the doctor relates.
While the doctor stressed the need for water in the economy and social well-being, for which they urged that water resources be preserved and protected.
