The first results of today's parliamentary elections in Montenegro have been released by the Centre for Monitoring and Research. Forty-eight percent of the votes have been counted so far. According to first estimates, DPS list KH defined for Montenegro and Milo Djukanovic has 34.2 per cent and the coalition “for the Future of Montenegro” 33.7 per cent.

The Coalition “Peace is our nation” has 12.6 per cent, “The black Netherlands” five per cent, Bosniak Party 4.4 per cent, Social Democrats 4.3, SDP ) Strong three per cent Montenegro, the Albanian Coalition unanimously 1.1 per cent, Albanian list 1.4 per cent, HGI 0.2 per cent.

If any Croatian lists exceed 0.35 per cent, they will receive a reserved mandate.

The Centre for Democratic Transition announced earlier that 75.9 registered voters exercised their right to vote.

Citizens voted in 1,217 seats for one of the 11 election lists.
