Last night, police and protesters have clashed in Belarus's capital, Minsk, and in other cities of this state, as the results of a state-run political TV ex-exit were predicted to win the incumbent, Alexander Lukashenko.
The opposition has earlier declared that it expects the voting process to be manipulated, saying it will organise an alternative number of votes.
The web monitoring group, “NetBlocks”, said the network has been blocked throughout the country and that the situation has deteriorated throughout the day, thus creating a vacuum of information.
